President of the ASPU Trade Union Edik Gulyan has issued a congratulatrory message on the occasion of World Day for Decent Work.

“Decent work is an opportunity for all employees of the 100-year-old University to work in conditions of freedom, equity, security and human dignity, which determine stable development of the University. Emphasizing the importance of social dialogue [at the workplace] between employer and employees, and sustainable development of social partnership, the Trade Union is convinced that increasing employees’ legal awareness of their social rights [related to the aforesaid] at the University will contribute to the creation and maintenance of decent work at the University in the best possible way,” reads the message.
