Every year the Chair of Pedagogy organizes a competition (“A Child as a Personality and a Friend”) on the occasion of International Children's Day.
The annual competition was held remotely this year. Despite the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, 25 students applied for participation addressing their messages to their parents and lecturers.
The competition committee selected 18 messages of BA and MA students that met the predefined standards.
Professors Srbuhi Gevorgyan and Aida Topuzyan, Associate Professors Lusine Poghosyan, Armenuhi Manukyan and Leon Nazaryan were among the committee members. After long consideration, Anahit Adamyan, a MA student majoring in Social Pedagogy, and Milena Eghoyan, a BA student majoring in Russian Language and Literature, were named winners.
There were nominees in other categories as well. There were two nominees in the “Loyalty Issues in Childhood” category - Narine Avetisyan (a second-year MA student of the Faculty of Primary Education; Elementary Pedagogy and Methodology) and Alina Yeghiazaryan (a second-year MA student of the Faculty of Educational Psychology and Sociology; Social Pedagogy). Gohar Khachatryan (a second-year BA student majoring in Elementary Pedagogy and Methodology) was nominated in the "Most Touching Message" category while Gayane Khoetsyan (a fourth-year BA student majoring in Elementary Pedagogy and Methodology) – in the “Realistic Message” category. Karlen Nazaryan (a third-year student of the Faculty of Philology; Armenian Language and Literature) was nominated in “Rhetoric” and Petty Killercheian (a second-year MA student of Elementary pedagogy and methodology) won ‘the sympathy of the audience. ‘
Let us mention that the competition was held for the 8th year. All participants of the competition will receive certificates.
