On March 20, students and lecturers of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics hosted Areg Mikaelyan, Director of the V. Hambardzumian Observatory of the RA National Academy of Sciences.

During the lecture entitled “Challenges in Modern Astronomy” Areg Mikaelyan spoke about the development of astronomy in Armenia and presented facts confirming that the history of astronomy dates back to ancient times.
