KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

On May 28, Armenians celebrate one of the most important holidays in the history of the country which marked the formation of the First Armenian Republic and restoration of the Armenia statehood.

Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) congratulates Armenians around the world on the occasion of the First Republic Day, which is of historical significance for the Armenian people.

More than a century has passed since the proclamation of the independent Republic of Armenia (May 28, 1918), but Armenians continue to celebrate the holiday with the same enthusiasm and vigour understanding very well that what was acquired at the price of struggle should not only be kept and preserved, but also passed down from generation to generation.

ASPU representatives have had their contributions to the victory and historical events of the country. Each and every graduate of the University feels obliged to have an important role in achieving new victories – from educating generations to protecting the borders of our Motherland.
