ASPU alumnus wins Anahit Award for Best Cinematographer

On April 16 (Armenian Cinema Day), the Armenian National Film Academy held its 4th Anahit Awards.

Alumnus of the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) Suren Tadevosyan won the Anahit Award for Best Cinematographer for the film “Yasha and Leonid Brezhnev”. The films submitted were the ones produced in 2022 and 2023, and the best of the film industry were selected for awards in 12 categories.

Acting Head of the ASPU Chair of Camera work, Artistic Photography and Socio-Cultural Activities Ruben Yerzinkyan remembers award recipient Suren Tadevosyan very well.

“Suren was active back when he was a student and stood out with his mastery, and he had successful films produced as coursework and work for his diploma. He came to the University when he was working in television and complemented his theoretical knowledge at the University,” Ruben Yerzinkyan told aspu.am and assured that Suren Tadevosyan is one of the top cinematographers for feature films today.
