From 9 to 13 December, through the Erasmus+ T4Green Project (Transforming Teacher Education for Green and Digital Transition in Armenia and Moldova), the working groups of the educational institutions of Armenia and Moldova were hosted at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic. The Project is coordinated by the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU), and the working group of the University was led by Vice-Rector for HR Management and International Cooperation Marianna Harutyunyan.
The aim of the visit was to become familiar with the practice of implementation of teacher education reforms in the Czech Republic within the scope of the priorities for green and digital transition. Besides this, group activities were held through the coordinated efforts of the partners from Portugal, Spain and the Czech Republic, and these activities were targeted at the development of a National Concept for Teacher Education.
During the training, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Masaryk University Simona Koryčánková presented the strategic directions and educational programs of the Faculty, particularly the directions and programs within the scope of green and digital transition. Richard Hubl, representative of the Rector’s Office, also talked about various initiatives for sustainable development at the University.
The participants also paid a visit to LIPKA – school facilities for environmental education and Teiresias Support Centre for Students with Special Needs in order to become familiar with the approaches to inclusive education.
There was also a project coordination meeting held with representatives of the Project management committee. The activities completed over the past six months were summed up and the actions envisaged under the next working package were planned during the meeting.
The working visit ended with a recap of the achievements made during the training.
