ASPU graduates receive awards in IT sphere

A group of students and pupils showing achievements in the IT sector were awarded during an event marking the 15th anniversary of Synopsys Armenia.

During the event that took place at the Aram Khachatryan concert hall on November 7, state educational awards were given to the best students from universities and high schools in the following categories: Grand Prix, Best PhD Student, Best Master Student, Best Bachelor Student, Best Diaspora Student, Best Female student and Best High School Student.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan personally handed the awards to the 47 winners.

The Armenian Premier congratulated the winners and emphasized that ‘the most important condition for progress is the formation of the public demand for knowledge.’

Arshak Amirjanyan and Harutyun Torosyan, who studied at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics (ASPU), were named winners in the Best Bachelor Student nomination.
In a telephone conversation with aspu.am, Harutyun said that his diligence and the knowledge he received at ASPU helped him receive the prestigious award in the IT sphere.

Like the other winners, Harutyun received a monetary award, a cup symbolizing the competition and a certificate. This is the beginning of great achievements. Harutyun is currently working at ASPU. He is going to study for a master’s degree at ASPU.

Arshak Amirjanyan is currently serving in the Armenian Armed Forces. We congratulate the ASPU graduates and wish them new achievements.
