On August 13, Armenian State Pedagogical University hosted representatives of the International Mind Education Institute (IMEI) of South Korea.
During the meeting, ASPU Rector Ruben Mirzakhanyan presented the activity of the Pedagogical University, successful experience of international cooperation and said ASPU is interested in continuous enhancement of cooperation in different directions.
The IMEI representatives in turn presented the activity of the South Korean institution, as well as cooperation with other universities. They said the IMEI cooperates with a number of universities in Russia, Ukraine and other countries and expressed readiness to deliver a series of Mind-education lectures for ASPU lecturers and students.
At the end of the meeting, ASPU Rector Ruben Mirzakhanyan said after getting more detailed information on the IMEI and its activity the sides can discuss and formulate more precisely the possibilities of cooperation between the two institutions in question.
The guests thanked the Armenian side for the warm welcome and expressed hope that the joint work will give them an opportunity to cooperate with the leading teacher training institute in Armenia.
The IMEI collaborates with educational institutions from 84 countries around the world, conducts training courses and lecture and counseling programmes. Its primary objective is to help the youth find their true values and goals in life.
