The Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) hosted the informational meeting for the Erasmus+ Programme with professors and lecturers to share information about the ASPU’s participation in the Erasmus+ Programme and provide details about the application process.
Representatives of the ASPU Centre for International Cooperation and Project Management presented the Erasmus+ Capacity-Building in Higher Education Programs being carried out by the ASPU, particularly Erasmus+ DESIRE (Development of Soft Skills at Higher Education Institutions of Armenia and Georgia in Compliance with the 21st Century Labour Market Requirements), T4GREEN (Transforming Teacher Education for Green and Digital Transition in Armenia and Moldova and KPI4HE (Establishment of National Framework of Key Performance Indicators for Good Governance and Quality towards Inclusive, Digital and Green Oriented Higher Education in Armenia).
What was particularly touched upon was the Erasmus+ DESIRE (Development of Soft Skills at Higher Education Institutions of Armenia and Georgia in Compliance with the 21st Century Labour Market Requirements) Program, and the expected end results were presented, including the introduction of 5 curriculum modules, the development of massive open online courses which include the areas of digital literacy, inclusivity, proactiveness and leadership, as well as entrepreneurial skills, setting priorities and decision-making skills.
The second part of the meeting featured a presentation devoted to the process of developing proposals for the Erasmus+ Capacity-Building Programs, as well as the procedure for applying for the Erasmus+ mobility projects and the partnering universities.
