Suren Danielyan, Head of the Chair of New and Contemporary Armenian Literature and its Teaching Methods after Vache Partizuni at Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU), Director of the "Spyurk" ("Diaspora") Scientific-Educational Center of the University, has received a grant within the framework of the "Translation Programs and Support for Creators and Researchers" grant program of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia.
Recently the council making the list of grant recipients for the 2025 grant program held a final meeting. Professor Danielyan won a grant for his book " Nuclear fission: The History of Diasporan Armenian Literature.” (Volume 2).
Grants were awarded to authors whose works corresponded to the program criteria and required directions: the translations were to be creative and research-based (from other languages to Armenian), also, emphasis was laid on Armenian literature in translations (from Armenian to other languages).
Let us add that out of the 24 applications received by the Ministry for the first three directions of the program, 14 had received positive feedback and support. The works of the grant program are published to ensure broad public access to them.
