Laure Kasten, Director of the Central and Eastern Europe Regional Office of the Francophonie University Agency (AUF), has handed over Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) a souvenir evidencing the cooperation between the two structures in question.
Collaboration between the two institutions started more than ten years ago. Within the framework of cooperation, a group of ASPU students have done internships at the University of Lille (France), in Bucharest and Bulgaria, participated in Francophonie festivals and the 10th edition of the regional festival of Francophone students at the University of Montenegro.
In addition, within the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia and AUF on the implementation of joint scientific and academic research programs, ASPU students did a two-month research at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. Also, a group of ASPU professors participated in the meetings of the coordinating universities in Bucharest.
ASPU’s cooperation with the Francophone Digital Center of Yerevan also started within the framework of the ASPU-AUF partnership. Also, ASPU PhD students and degree seekers participated in the renowned international competition "My Thesis in 180 Seconds" which was held in Armenia for the first time.
