ASPU representatives participate in “My Thesis in 180 Seconds” competition

Talin Ashikean, a degree seeker at the Chair of Speech and Rehabilitation Therapy of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU), and Susanna Avagyan, a PhD student at the Chair of Developmental and Educational Psychology, have recently participated in the national round of the renowned international competition "My Thesis in 180 Seconds."

The competition held at the French Embassy in Armenia gave the participants the opportunity to present their research topic to the audience in French in 180 seconds in a simple and accessible way.

Postgraduate students and applicants enrolled in higher education institutions in Armenia during the 2023-2024 academic year, as well as those who have defended their PhD thesis within the 12 months preceding the final stage of the competition, are eligible to participate in the competition.

The jury consisted of Adrian Tanasescu, head of programs of the Central and Eastern Europe Regional Office of the Central and Eastern Europe Office, Zara Nazaryan, director of the Le Courrier d'Erevan news site, and Lucille Bousquet, attaché for Scientific and Academic Cooperation of the French Embassy in Armenia.

The jury consisted of Adrian Tanasescu, Director of Projects, Central and Eastern Europe at Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, Zara Nazaryan, Head of “Le Courrier d'Erevan” information website, and Lucile Bousquet, Attaché for Scientific and Academic Cooperation at the French Embassy in Armenia.

During the competition, Susanna Avagyan received the "Sympathy of the Audience" prize by the jury.
