By the order of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the scientific topics guaranteed for funding by the Science Committee of MօESCS under the competition "Support Programme for Young Postgraduate and PhD Students – 2022” have been approved.
All in all, 26 scientific topics were included on the list. The work of Parandzem Hambardzumyan, a degree seeker at the Chair of Mathematics and its Teaching Methodology at ASPU, also received contractual (thematic) funding.
The young scientist’s work entitled "Study of the stress-strain states of layered packages under non-classical boundary conditions according to the data of sensors installed in the packages” is supervised byProfessor Lusine Ghulghazaryan.
The financing will last 36 months. Within the framework of the project, Parandzem Harutyunyan will have some of her articles published in journals and will participate in conferences. She will also travel to Russia to conduct practical research at the Institute of Mechanics.
“Study of the stress-strain states of flying machines, structures, components of delicate instruments and devices as well as assessment of their real condition has always been a priority issue. The project proposes a new approach for predicting the length of uninterrupted operation of mechanical systems," Parandzem Hambardzumyansaid in a conversation with aspu.am.
