The Pedagogical University is a member of the Francophonie University Agency. This year the annual Francophonie Forum took place at the city of Plovdiv in Bulgaria, which was also announced as the European Cultural City this year.
The Forum involved French speaking participants from 17 countries of the World; among the seven participants from Armenia was the ASPU first year MA History student Rouzanna Sargsyan.
In her short interview to the aspu.am the MA student assured that it was not only fun to participate, but also a great honour to represent Armenian and her native educational centre.
“I have endless impressions from sunny Bulgaria. Participants from different countries were supposed to present their national, cultural peculiarities, which was a very responsible task. We were the first to present, and we became the best”, Rouzanna Sargsyan mentioned.
The latter also added that the foreign students had warm impressions of Armenia, particularly from the Francophonie summit with its reception and full of memorable events organised last year.
“New acquaintances, communication skills, active pastime, familiarization with cultures of other countries – all these and other opportunities as well were granted with the participation in the Forum”, added the ASPU postgraduate.
