From December 25 to 26, 12 students of the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) participated in the “Кавказ-Каспий-Ближний Восток 2024” (Kavkaz-Kaspi-Blizhni Vostok) international youth forum.

Hosted by the North Caucasus Federal University, the forum brought together more than 100 participants from 15 countries, including Armenia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Azerbaijan, as well as foreign students of the largest universities in Southern Russia.

“May the bridges of friendship that students and countries establish through the forum, turn into ‘highways’. The important thing is to not forget to dream,” Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova stated in her welcoming remarks.

The two-day youth forum featured open discussions, master classes, training sessions, intellectual games, trivia games and presentations.

The participants of the forum were introduced to various formats for social work and improved their leadership capabilities in order to carry out activities for the society. Let us mention that the participants of the forum were young people who carry out social programs and events.

The students of the ASPU attached importance to their participation in the youth forum and the exchange of experience in the areas of science and education. They remarked that during the visit, they introduced the foreign students to Armenian culture and taught them the most common Armenian dance, that is, the “Kochari”, which truly impressed the young foreigners.
