On May 15-19, Marianna Harutyunyan, ASPU Vice-Rector of Personnel and International Cooperation, visited Spain to participate in the International Staff Training Week at the University of Seville (Universidad de Sevilla).

Cooperation between ASPU and the University of Seville started in 2019 within the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility project.

The event was attended by representatives of partner universities from more than 10 countries.

The participants got acquainted with the history of the Spanish university, research and capacity building programs, and had a tour around the university campus.

On the sidelines of the visit, Marianna Harutyunyan had meetings with different representatives of the University of Seville to discuss  opportunities for expanding cooperation and implementing long-term projects.

Founded in 1505, the University of Seville is one of the oldest and leading universities in Spain’s higher education system. It offers programs for both local and international students.  It is one of the top public universities in the country and is ranked 1st in terms of financial inflow.

It also offers student mobility and exchange programs and is in the lead in terms of international students.
