Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet Activities, the ASPU, jointly with its partner universities, has received financing for the implementation of the “Promotion of the European Studies in Armenia” Project. The duration of the Project is 24 months; the University of Maribor (Slovenia) will be the coordinator of the project.
The project aims at introducing, as well as improving European studies courses in Armenian partner universities.
We would like to mention that the Jean Monnet Activities intend to promote teaching and research processes in the area of European Union studies.
In addition, these activities are also designed to improve the dialogue between the academic world and policy makers, particularly aiming at expanding the EU policy management. The EU studies comprise the complete study of Europe, with specific emphasis on the European integration processes, from both internal and external perspectives.
The ASPU Head of the Department of International Cooperation Marianna Harutyunyan outlined that this project will allow them to expand cooperation of research activities in the area of European studies.
