SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS

During the last 15 years I have been working on the following problems:
theory and practice of foreign language teaching methodology
various methodological issues related to teaching/learning in primary and secondary school (as an author of articles, textbooks, teacher handbooks, reading books, learner dictionaries and as a coauthor of foreign language curricula)
the development of the national conception of the specific features of foreign language teaching/learning in the field of pre-service and in-service teacher training under the conditions of bilingual and multicultural education
the development of new textbooks, handbooks and teacher training programmes in accordance with the specifics of the national educational system
European Language Portfolio.
