Borders of Homeland are drawn by Armenian soldiers…

"The army was created and established during the chaos of the war and became the guarantor of the Armenian statehood. It is the faith and pride of the Armenian people, the anchor of which are soldiers. There is no higher and more sacred duty than protection of the Homeland," 7th graders of ASPU Primary School No. 57 said during an event dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the Armenian Armed Forces.

The event focused on the creation of the Armenian Army, the importance of the mission to protect the Homeland at all costs, the fighting spirit, endurance, courage and faith of Armenian soldiers, whose long sufferings will eventually bring peace.

The children emphasized that victories against the enemy are won even before fighting starts, and first of all, they are won morally. Fighting is only a way to give tangible expression to inner confidence and victory.

They added that the borders of the Homeland are drawn by Armenian soldiers: "No matter how difficult the path is, the goal is noble, and the path to greatness leads to victory." The children swore to continue the work of Armenian soldiers with honour; before the next shift, they believe that the country's borders will be strong and well-protected by soldiers, who will fulfill their duty towards the Homeland and soil with honour.

"Each of us must protect the holy land that we inherited from our ancestors, and Armenian soldiers must temper their will and character by serving in the army. They must be disciplined, dutiful and patriotic, ready to sacrifice their lives for the Homeland." The children are convinced that we shall bring back the Armenian lands.

At the end of the event, the children danced "Kochari" (a traditional Armenian dance expressing indomitable strength, courage and resilience) and sent a message to Armenian mothers and teachers – to educate and raise children with a heroic spirit and full of patriotism, instilling in them love and respect for the Homeland and the Armenian Army.

Naira Toghosyan, Principal of Primary School No. 57, thanked class teacher Meline Mikayelyan, music teacher Azniv Bareghamyan, and the teaching staff for their teamwork, cooperation, selfless and unwavering dedication, and the emotions given during the event.
