Center for Hungarian History, Cultural Studies and Language to open at ASPU

A center for Hungarian History, Cultural Studies and Language is planned to open at Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) in the near future as part of collaboration between ASPU and the Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPCU). The center will serve as a platform for students and professors who want to deepen their knowledge of Hungarian culture and language.

The center aims to increase students’ involvement in research in Hungary, which will further contribute to the strengthening of scientific cooperation between the two countries in question. It also aims to create conditions for the active exchange of knowledge and cultural experience.

A series of events are scheduled to be held at the center in the near future, including commemoration of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, exhibitions dedicated to Hungarian art and culture, screenings of films about Hungarian culture, and master classes on Hungarian traditions. The events will provide a deeper understanding of and insight into Hungarian history and culture.

The center will also offer courses on the Hungarian language, Hungarian culture and history which will help learn and understand the rich heritage of Hungary.

The center is located at Tigran Mets 17, Yerevan.

Let's remind that the agreement on opening the center was ratified earlier this year by ASPU Rector Srbuhi Gevorgyan and Hungarian Secretary of State Tristan Azbej.
