Today, the teachers of the Armenian Diaspora, taking training sessions at the Pedagogical University, received their participation Certificates.
At the end of the project, the teachers thanked the Ministry of ESCS, the Head of the Department of Foreign Relations and Diaspora Arkadi Papoyan. Upon greeting the participants of the month-long training programme, Arkadi Papoyan hoped for the acquired skills and abilities to serve their purpose.
“It is important both for us and for you. We would like to have your support to understand what the needs of our educational centres in the Diaspora are. I am sure that the days you spent in Armenia will become unforgettable for you, and that you will take back with you the reality that will then become a sweet souvenir. Please, be assured that we are by your side and ready to support”, he added.
Likewise, the latter expressed his acknowledgments to the Managing bodies of the Pedagogical University, together with the representatives of the project, for enriching the training programmes with educational and cultural elements and for ensuring the required environment.
Besides, he looked forward for the newly created relations to be strengthened and to set grounds for a beautiful continuation for future cooperation and new undertakings.
“You are the Ambassadors of the Armenian language in countries, where you work. And that is a patriotic work aimed at preservation of national identity, for which we are first of all grateful to you”, the ASPU Vice-Rector Ara Yeremyan added and congratulated the trained teachers on behalf of the University.
In addition, the Vice-Rector emphasized that the annual training session was implemented with the political will of the Ministry of ESCS and as a result of the daily consistent work of the Pedagogical University. The Vice-Rector also added that the University is willing to continue the training programme, to expand it, to include a diversity of fields, to outline new areas for improvements.
“With a retrospective sight over the past month, your heart fills with pride. Today, we are all happy as we have acted by the call of our heart, and fulfilled an important part of the pedagogical mission”, mentioned the Director of the “Spyurk” [Diaspora] Research Centre, the Head of the ASPU Chair of Armenian Modern and New Literature and its Teaching Methods, Professor Souren Danielyan and congratulated the teachers.
Professor Danielyan couldn’t hide his pride for the teachers of the Armenian Diaspora, who replenished their knowledge at the institution, bearing the name of Khachatur Abovyan, and succeeded.
“We may somehow call you the graduates of the Pedagogical University, and consider this farewell as a start for future new meetings.
The teachers of the Diaspora in their turn thanked for organising the training session on a high level, which also gave them the opportunity in addition to gaining new knowledge, skills and abilities, to also visit the picturesque sights of their motherland, to participate in cultural events and various meetings.
Last but not least, it’s already been three years, that by the initiative of the Ministry of ESCS, the Pedagogical University is organising trainings for teachers of the Armenian Diaspora. This year, the project held from 1 till 26 July involved participation of 56 teachers from 15 countries trained in 5 groups.
