On the initiative of the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education of the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Kh. Abovyan and the Republican Pedagogical-Psychological Center, October 30-3, 2024, the international conference "Changing Education: Contemporary Challenges of Universal Inclusion" will be held at ASPU.
The aim of the conference is to discuss the latest developments and innovations in inclusive education and exchange ideas on diversity, equality, difference, best practices and research results by bringing together scholars, students, leaders, specialists in the field of special education and related fields from different countries.
The main thematic directions of the conference are:
- Providing quality education through innovation
- Education policy, inclusion as a policy
- Educational management and leadership
- Research and interventions, assessment theories and methodologies
- Curriculum development and design
- Teaching and learning, learners’ diversity
- Technology development /ICT, assistive technology/
- Infrastructure and physical spaces /museums, cultural structures/
- Career and employment
- Individualized education plan /IEP/
- Primary, secondary and higher education
- Multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary education
- Educational research, development and publications
- Professional training, development and concerns in education
- Collaboration and community engagement
- Mental health and well-being.

The working languages of the conference will be Armenian, Russian, and English. The papers submitted should not be published before the conference. The average time for each report is 15 minutes.
Applicants who have received a final invitation to participate in the conference must submit their papers to the Organizational Committee by October 10:
- After receiving confirmation of acceptance of the abstract, it is necessary to submit the full article (before October 15, 2024). It should be structured in the following format: article title, author's (authors’) first and last name(s), academic degree(s) and title(s), organization, email address, phone number(s).
- Articles presented at the conference will be published in the ''Armenian Journal of Special Education'', which is cited in various international databases.

- Articles should be submitted only electronically in Microsoft Word format.
