The Chair of Camerawork, Artistic Photography and Socio-cultural Activities has summed up the results of a photo contest - exhibition entitled "Creative Path."
Multi-genre photos and their titles were evaluated by a professional jury and visitors of the exhibition who participated in the voting.
The exhibition featured 70 works by 14 students taking bachelor’s and master's courses at ASPU. The photos were displayed in the exhibition hall of the Faculty of Culture for about two months.
In a conversation with aspu.am, Armen Khachatryan, a lecturer of the Chair of Camerawork, Artistic Photography and Socio-cultural Activities, says the participants took the competition seriously. Eleven participants received incentive awards.
Armen Khachatryan says various competitions are held on the initiative of the Chair. In the near future, they will present black and white photography – the original form of photography, showing students’ talent and imagination in that genre.
The lecturer thinks exhibitions and competitions of this format stimulate and encourage future photographers to constantly develop their professional skills and abilities.
Gevorg Tadevosyan, Dean of the Faculty of Culture, gave certificates to the winners of the competition.
