An international conference entitled "Issues in and Perspectives of Special Education and Inclusive Education" was held on the initiative of the ASPU Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education last week.
The scientific-practical conference was held online and in a face-to-face format, with foreign participants making their reports online while students and lecturers of the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education having face-to-face meetings.
Representatives of partner universities from St. Petersburg, Crimea, Arkhangelsk, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan touched upon current issues in inclusive education, as well as ways to develop a comprehensive system of inclusive education.
Representatives of leading institutions in the field of special education also stressed the importance of organizing the special education process. In that context, they emphasized the importance of creating comfortable conditions and environment for students with disabilities and a number of other issues in special needs and inclusive education.
The conference participants stressed the importance of the international conference as a unique opportunity to exchange experiences of different countries. The guests also voiced their desire to strengthen further cooperation and communication.
