Cooperation opportunities discussed with foreign guests   

On November 8, ASPU Vice-Rector for Human Resources and International Cooperation Marianna Harutyunyan had a working meeting with representatives of North Ossetian State University named after K. L. Khetagurov and Penza State University (Russia).

The group visited ASPU at the invitation of the Faculty of History and Social Sciences to discuss cooperation opportunities between the universities in question.

In her speech, the ASPU vice-rector emphasized the need to take practical steps and added that the main focus of cooperation should be pedagogy;  for a century now, the University has been teaching to teach.

During the meeting, the parties discussed avenuees for cooperation, opportunities for conducting research in a number of fields, implementation of joint exchange programmes.

The Russian partners said they are interested in cooperation opportunities with different faculties. As representatives of academic and educational institutions that train pedagogues, they value the experience and methodology of Armenian colleagues in the field of modern pedagogy.

The parties agreed to submit proposals for cooperation in order to fix partnership in a memorandum of cooperation.
