The Pedagogical University started cooperation with the Chicago School of Professional Psychology by the initiative of the ASPU Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Ms. Srbouhi Gevorgyan. A few days ago, the first online meeting with the administrative and professional staff members of the Chicago School took place.
This undertaking aims at upgrading the professional knowledge of students, who chose to become psychologists and picked up psychology courses, to enable them to further practice in emergency, post-war and post-traumatic conditions.
During the online meeting, the ASPU Head of the Department of International Cooperation Ms. Marianna Harutyunyan introduced the vision of the Pedagogical University in regards with this project, highlighting the involvement of students, the importance and priority of implementation of mobility and joint research activities.
Likewise, among the participants of this online event was Associate Professor of International Psychology Patricia Perez. The latter familiarized herself with the existing conditions and the presented needs, as well as shared with her vision of long-term and short-term goals and objectives.
The launch of this cooperation will be followed by project discussions, further justifications, and joint effective work.
