Five-day training on "Entrepreneurship" was organized for ASPU lecturers on the initiative of the Change School, University of Essex and Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences.
Lecturers of the Chair of Foreign Languages - Tatevik Gevorgyan, Lilit Gabrielyan and Narine Baghdasaryan - participated in the training. Within the framework of the programme, they are currently training students.
Four groups of students each comprised of 15 people have been formed from different faculties. During the two-week training (three lessons a week) they will develop their entrepreneurial skills.
Talking to aspu.am, Lecturer Tatevik Gevorgyan said during the training, they gained important skills needed to start and run a small business. “In our country, education and business, science and business develop separately. The main objective of the training programme is to provide the participants with skills and knowledge which they can apply in their small business, regardless of their profession,” she added.
The lecturer says the programme differs from other training programmes in the sense that it is based exclusively on skills and situational implementation method.
At the end of the training, the students will receive certificates.
