In 1987 I defended the thesis "Armenia's agricultural material and technical base at 1920-1930-ies" by “Armenian History” profession, at Professional Council E.00.01 of the Institute of History of National Academy of Sciences, and received the degree of candidate of historical sciences.
Work experience
1990 till now docent, lecturer at Armenian history department of State Pedagogical University of Armenia
2007 – 2014 Dean of History and jurisprudence faculty of State Pedagogical University of Armenia
1987-1991 Scientific assistant at Institute of History of National Academy of Sciences
1983 –1987 Teacher of history at Gyumush eight-year school of Hrazdan region
1976 – 1978 Worker at Gavar’s production unit “Dipol”
Academic courses
At Bachelor classes I conduct course of overall and newest periods of "Armenian History" and "Problems of the history of Soviet Armenia" elective course at Master classes.
Academic interests
My academic work-papers are related to history and historiography of minorities, cultural, social-economic and social-political issues of Soviet Armenia 1920-1991-ies during period of 1st Republic of Armenia in 1918-1920-ies.
Trainings
2004 I have attended the training course at Newest history department of Institute of History of National Academy of Sciences RA.
1997 I have attended the training course at Armenian history cathedra of YSU.
Membership
Since 2013 I’m member of Scientific council of Institute of History of National Academy of Sciences RA.
