Today, the amateurs’ choir, consisting of the freshmen of the ASPU Faculty of Primary Education, Department of Pedagogy and Methodology summarized the results of their three months’ activities.
Organising the exam on the course of “Singing” in form of a concert has already become one of the traditions of the Faculty, where the professoriate is presented with already favourite and well-known classical and folk songs learnt in a short lapse of time.
According to the Associate Professor of the Chair of Preschool Pedagogy and Methodology Vachagan Navasardyan, despite the musical and hearing abilities, students, willing to become pedagogues, manage to learn the material well.
The Head of the Chair of Preschool Pedagogy and Methodology, Professor Vladimir Karapetyan congratulated the students and added that the difficult path of singing was equally kind and could overcome even internal conflicts.
“Today’s growing society should realise that singing can provide inner emotional harmony; so we should start and finish our day with songs.”
Moreover, the Professor of the same Chair Svetlana Marutyan in her turn highlighted the importance of the initiative undertaken by Vachagan Navasardyan to organise the exam in such a format, which gives the opportunity to get assured that students, who are also future mothers, can overcome the difficult path of singing.
“The power of songs is huge, it can change moral features”, Professor Marutyan noted.
Summing up, we would like to mention that compositions by Sayat-Nova, Komitas, Kh. Avetisyan, A. Babajanyan and other authors were performed during the concert.
