Hungarian guests introduced to the activity of International Cooperation Unit at ASPU

From March 12 to 14, Armenian State Pedagogical University hosted representatives of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPCU).

On the sidelines of the visit to ASPU, the guests had a meeting with Mariana Harutyunyan, Head of the International Cooperation Unit at ASPU, and Edgar Hovhannisyan, Dean of the Faculty of History and Law.

The sides discussed the process of programmes which are being implemented jointly by the two universities in question, including the International Summer School, double-diploma courses and Erasmus+ international credit mobility programme.

As a result of cooperation between the two universities, Chair of Armenology (Armenian Studies) was opened at PPCU in 2016. Since September 2016, the students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University have been given an opportunity to specialize in the field of Armenian studies. More than a dozen of PPCU students have specialized in this field ever since.
