The Pedagogical University continues welcoming representatives of various spheres of science including foreign scientists and guests.

Within this scope, Physicist, Astrophysicist , PhD David Edwin Alvarez Castillo visited the teaching professoriate and the students of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics.

During his lecture about “Introduction to physics of neutron stars and pulsars” the Professor presented the concept of neutron stars, the pulsars as neutron stars, after which he referred to the discovery thereof. The attendees asked the guest the questions that interested them most.

The Pedagogical University Vice-Rector for Academic Matters Srbouhi Gevorgyan expressed her acknowledgements for the hospitality and highlighted that Management of the University always emphasized the importance of lectures delivered by foreign scientists and meetings therewith. Likewise, the Vice-Rector hoped that the lecture delivered by the Physicist, Astrophysicist, PhD David Edwin Alvarez Castillo would give a chance to the University lecturers and studnets to get familiarized with new accomplishments and success in this sphere.
