From May 27 to June 15, the ASPU Research Center held a training course for certification of the right to manage an educational institution.
A person granted with the right (certificate) to manage an educational institution, may participate in the competition called for the vacant position of the head of an educational institution.
ASPU Rector Ruben Mirzakhanyan personally handed over certificates to the participants of the training course. He stressed that the participants’ proposals will help reveal the strengths and weaknesses of the course, the skills of the training staff.
“To become a good teacher one has to be a student or a pupil from time to time,” the participants of the course said and thanked the organizers. At the same time they suggested focusing on the development of practical skills. The trained specialists say that the course makes them look back at their path, analyze their work, and constantly learn and develop skills.
Human qualities, fast orientation and listening skills - these are the important qualities that will enable you to successfully manage a school,” said Eduard Ghazaryan, an academician of the National Academy of Sciences.
At the end of the training course the participants filled in forms making suggestions and recommendations on the organization and content of the course, assessing the skills of the trainers.
