KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Dear students and professors, pupils and teachers, I congratulate you all on the occasion of the inauguration of the new academic year — Knowledge and Scholastics Day.

Studying and working at the University named after the Great Enlightener Khachatur Abovyan is first and foremost the greatest responsibility and mission before the generations that you are going to be educating.

I congratulate you all on the occasion of the 2024-2025 Academic Year, wishing you endless vigor to become educated and to create in a peaceful country and a welfare state. As far as the 1^st-year students of the Armenian State Pedagogical University are concerned, I would like to be certain that from this moment, you will aspire to be good specialists and especially good teachers, and you will disseminate the light and knowledge everywhere as torchbearers, bearing the torch for the new generations that will stand up for the country.

I am certain that, due to your joint efforts, unbreakable faith and endless dedication, you will be able to revalue the image and reputation of a teacher through your work and willingness to educate, and that in the future we will have a more powerful army that will replenish ‘the army of pedagogues’.

Dear learners and employees, show an approach towards your selected profession and job with a sense of responsibility and a heartfelt attitude, and show — with precaution — an approach towards the sublime calling, the mission of which has been irreplaceable in all times. I fully hope that we will start the academic year with the aspiration to overcome the challenges facing science and education together, and the main ‘Smithy for Pedagogues’ stands by teachers, professors, pupils and students during this journey, to do everything possible to support those who are devoted to the task of education.
