On the invitation of Edvard Kokanyan, Head of the Chair of Theoretical Physics and Physics Teaching Methods, Armenian State Pedagogical University recently hosted Professor Claude Leroy from the University of Burgundy (Université de Bourgogne) in Dijon.
The French Coordinator of the French-Armenian International Associated Laboratory arrived in Armenia to participate in a conference.
During the ASPU-hosted meeting with the first- and second-year MA students, the Professor introduced the structure of the University of Burgundy and its laboratories. He also delivered a lecture on the topic “Interactions between Atoms and Molecules in Terms of Quantum Mechanics.”
In his lecture, Mr Claude Leroy also referred to the scientific achievements at their lab recorded in recent years.
The initiator of the meeting, Edvard Kokanyan, highlighted the importance of meetings between foreign scientists and MA students and said the meetings help improve the level of language proficiency and increase the activity of scientific debates.
