The two-day international conference “Theoretical and Practical Problems of Development of Transforming Society/philosophic and psychological perspectives/” organized within
the framework of events on the 90th anniversary of the ASPU after Khachatur Abovyan, after the solemn opening ceremony, continued its work in five sections. The second section introduced and discussed the problems of transformational logic.
The Co-Heads of the section were the Professor of the Aarhus University/Denmark/, the Director of the Center of Ethics and Law in the Department of Education, the President of the International Federation of Philosophical Societies /FISP/, the Academician of the International Academy of Philosophy, Peter Camp, and the ASPU Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Logic, Associate Professor of Philosophical Sciences, the Academician of the International Academy of Philosophy, Robert Jijyan
The latter presented a report on the subject “Methodological Function of Transformational Logic”, in which he referred to the theory of transformational logic which was brought forth by the Academician Gevorg Brutyan.
“This theory has first of all manifested its methodological function towards formal logic. The following two slogans have principal meaning from the perspective of transformational logic methodology function; specify the basic concepts of the theory under observation, and the reveal the unrevealed in the research field,” the Academician Jijyan outlined.
After that, the RA NAS Academician Rouben Mambardzumyan presented his report on the topic of “Probability in Mathematics and History” in which he outlined that the mathematical theory of probabilities is classically based on the concept of independence and the rule of big numbers. Those ideas are successfully applied in the insurance practice. The reporter also spoke about the possibility of using the same probable methods for speculations of incidents of the past, for instance, in cases of military censorship or wartime propaganda because of absence of accurate information.
The following report was delivered by the Candidate of Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, the head of the ASPU Department of Mathematics and Elementary Education Methodology, Haykuhi Harutyunyan; the subject of the report was “Measurements of Epistemological-Value of the Concept of Number and the Early Stage of Origin / Phylogenesis/ .
In that extremely interesting and meaningful report she introduced and discussed the history of the origin of the concept of numbers from the perspectives of epistemology and prescribed value, in the context of Phylogenesis.
“Number occurred earlier than language, and the number depictions had a role of catalyst on the forms and images of the early origin of numbers,” Haykuhi Hayrapetyan noticed.
The reporter considered it quite possible that the known theories about the origin of numbers/ pragmatic, conceptual, ritual/ are well correlated with the Õ©Õ¾Õ¡Õ£Õ¥Õ¶Õ¥Õ¦Õ«, but the preference should be given to the conceptual one.
And the last report was presented by the Pedagogical University MA student of the Faculty of Psychology and Sociology of Education, Armen Hayrapetyan. He introduced the report on the “Rules of Transformational Logic”, in discussed that if the Logic as science has a long history, the transformational logic as a logical science is still new and very few people had made researches over the field.
“Transformational Logic is a logical science that develops a doctrine/ set of rules/ of discovering unapparent forms of mind on the basis of the corresponding apparent forms /structures/.Those problems are of great importance both in the field of the science of logic and the development of logical theory of language, and for solving urgent problems in a number of other adjacent sciences,” the reporter added.
During each report all the participants were actively asking questions and discussing; agreeing or disagreeing, or trying to insist on their viewpoints, to express their opinions on the subjects and issues discussed.
In the end, the Co-Head of the section Robert Jijyan summed up the work done with the following, “All the report were very interesting and fascinating, and a lot of questions arose after their discussions which make us get into deep thoughts and contemplations, and will definitely serve ground for further researches. In facts, such conferences give the best opportunity to all of us, and especially to the students for live communication with the greatest scientists and philosophers. I strongly consider association with them as major success in life,” the Academician Jijyan stated.
