Summarizing the Work

 Day 2 of the international conference “Theoretical and Practical Problems of Development of a Transforming Society” continued its work in separate sections at the ASPU. 


The reports on day 2 in the section 1 in the sphere of Philosophy and Logic also referred to the transformational peculiarities in the public system. 
 
 
The Co-Heads of the section were the Professor of the Copenhagen Aarhus University /Denmark/, the Director of the Center of Ethics and Law within the Department of Education, the President of the International Federation of Philosophical Societies /FISP/, the Academician of the International Academy of Philosophy Peter Camp, and the Associate Professor of the YSU Department of Philosophy and Logic, the President of the Committee of “Civil Society Development Issues” of the RA Public Board, the Deputy Director of the International Research Institute of Metaphilosophy, Transformational Logic and Theory of Argumentation at the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, Candidate of Sciences, Hovhannes Hovhannsiyan.
 
 
The YSU Dean of the Faculty of Sociology, PhD, Professor Arthur Mkrtchyan in his report headed “No War, No Peace Society”, considers the trust as the basis for social solidarity, and its absence-as a threat for the country.
 
 
Afterwards, the Professor of the ASPU Department of Philosophy and Logic, PhD Mihran Khachatryan delivered the report “Transforming Society and the New Trends of Human Development”. During the report discussions were made about the new trends and guarantees of human development in the transitional society, the complications of a human self-assertion and the development peculiarities of human inner-power. 
 
 
 

Soon after that, the Associate Professor of the Department of Armenian History and Philosophy of the Armenian State Agrarian University, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Ashot Gevorgyan presented his report about “Intercultural Dialogue Specifications in the Context of National Self-Consciousness”. 
 
 
After that, the Vice Chancellor of the Northern University, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor Grigor Asatryan introduced his report headed “Humanistic Dimension of Social  Transformation” and described the peculiarities of contemporary humanism bonding it to the intensive social-political transformations all over the world.
 
 
More on the point, Albert Kharatyan, the RA NAS Associate Member, the Chief Editor of the RA “NAS Journal of Social Sciences”, made a report on the subject “M.Mamouryan’s Historical-Philosophical Views of Humanism and Social Reform”.
 
 
Later on, Astghik Petrosyan, the applicant of the RA NAS Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law, made a report on the subject of “Women Involvement in the Social-Political Life in the RA and the Dynamics of Social Stereotypes”; here she underlined the importance of complete involvement and participation of socially varying classes and ranks in the public-political activities and in the passing significant resolutions. 
 
 
While the aim of the report headed as the “Role of the Subject in a Transforming Society” made by the Associate Professor of the ASPU Department of Philosophy, Anahit Telunts, was to elucidate the issues of human formation and development in the current fast-changing world.
 
 
  The next report on the subject of “Transforming Society in Russia during the World War I” was made by the ASPU 1st year MA student of the Faculty of History and Law Tigran Khachatyran. As he stated, the updated researches, the newly discovered and published archive materials testified that the failure of the Bolshevik’s success and the destruction of the Tsarism were conditioned by the press of the days, the daily agitation of which resulted in certain changes in the society. 
 
 
Further on, the PhD student of the ASPU Department of General Pedagogy, Levon Nazaryan made a report on the topic of Ideological Transformation Peculiarities of the Aremina Diaspora of 1930s. While the lecturer of the Department of Philosophy and Logic, Mariam Matevosyan, in her report “Transformation of Nationalism in the Armenian Reality”, outlined that in the context of socio-cultural and political transformations in the post-Soviet Armenia is a considerable lack of research in the Armenian nationalism. 
 
 
And last but not least, the 2nd year MA student of the YSU Faculty of Law, Tigran Grigoryan, delivered his report about the RA prospects within the context of the Eastern Cooperation Agreement signed in 2008. As well as, Olya Hovhannisyan, the freshman of the ASPU Faculty of Education and Sociology, reported on the subject of “Value Changes among the Youth in the RA”.
 
 
By the end of each report, the participants had an opportunity to ask their questions to the reporter.
