Pedagogical University Hosts Students of Quantum College

Fifteen 8th grade students of Yerevan-based Quantum College led by Form Mistress Anna Gharslyan visited the Pedagogical University at the invitation of Maro Kocharyan, Candidate
 

 of Biological Sciences, lecturer at the Chair of Chemistry and its Teaching Methods.  They got acquainted with the Biology cabinet of the University. 
 
During an open lesson, the biology students showed on a living frog the structure of his nervous system and reflexes, while chemistry students performed interesting chemistry experiments.
 
 The guests were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography Svetlana Hovakimyan, Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies Vardouhi Hovsepyan, Lecturer Maro Kocharyan and students of the faculty. 
 
  “The open lesson aimed to introduce to the college students the Pedagogical University, its history, familiarize them with the characteristics of Chemistry and Biology, which will somehow help them in the choice of the future profession,” said Svetlana Hovakimyan. 
 
 The guests left the Pedagogical University with vivid impressions, seeking another meeting within the University premises.
