New Format of Professional Training

The Pedagogical University Research Centre continues to organize professional training sessions.

The process of professional training sessions for the Faculty of Special and Inclusive Education, Chair of Logopaedics and Rehabilitation Therapy and the Chair of Special Pedagogy and Psychology started today.

For the first time, the professional courses will be delivered by leading Professors of the field from Russia. Around 40 Professors will participate in the two-week online training sessions.

Among the Professors delivering the training courses are Professor Tatyana Basilova from the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education, Faculty of Clinical and Special Psychology, Chair of Special Psychology and Rehabilitation, the Head of the Chair of Deviant Behaviour Pedagogy and Social-Pedagogical Technologies of the V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University Yulia Gluzman, Associate Professor of the Chair of Corrective Pedagogy and Psychology of the Novosibirsk State University Institute of Childhood, the Head of the Support Centre for Students with Disabilities Olga Piskun, member of the Board of Experts of the “Russian Institute of Corrective Pedagogy” Irina Salomatina.

We would like to mention that in addition to the professional courses, the training programme includes sessions about modern teaching methods and the use of information technologies in the sphere of education.

The Head of the Research Centre Kamo Vardanyan mentioned during his interview to the www.aspu.am that even though the training sessions were going to be held online, they still hoped those sessions would be effective.

“We believe that the first successful practice may become a precedent for future international training sessions to be organised”.
