KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Recently, an international online conference was organized by ASPU and Peoples' Friendship University of Russia at the Russian Language Training and Testing Centre named after A.S. Pushkin.

The conference entitled “Geography: Homeland through the Eyes of Students” was attended by students from seven countries - Armenia, Russia, Côte d'Ivoire, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Antigua, Barbuda and Afghanistan.

In their reports, the speakers presented interesting information about these countries, local culture and customs. The participants also got acquainted with the architectural and cultural heritage of different countries and addressed questions to each other.

The organizers lauded the speeches and reports, while the participants stressed that the conference was effective and useful and the Russian language once again united them during the meeting.
