Within the framework of “Better Teaching for Better Learning” project, implemented by the Zurich University of Teacher Education, an online reporting meeting took place. The meeting was attended by the partner universities from Georgia, Moldova, Switzerland, and Armenia.
The Armenian State Pedagogical University was the participating and coordinating institution from Armenia.
The parties discussed the activities conducted on the methodological manuals for preparing and training teachers within the scope of this project. Similarly, they spoke about the methodological manual “Better teaching for better learning” currently developed by the working groups, as well as referred to the processes of revision of already existing “Better teaching for better learning” and “Education Practitioners: textbook about teaching methods” by the experts group.
After summarising the methodological manuals, created within the framework of the project, a round-table discussion with the academic faculty of the partner universities is in the pipeline. In order to clarify their implementation, the guidelines will also be presented to school Directors and teachers.
The duration of the project is fours years; the first two years are intended for the adaptation, revision, and creation of the methodological guidelines, followed by wide-scope training sessions.
The project was launched in February 2021, fully funded by the Zurich University of Teacher Education. A memorandum had been signed before the start of the project between the Armenian State Pedagogical University and the Zurich University of Teacher Education.
