Professor Doloukhanyan Participates in the International Forum of Writers

On 4-5 July, the International Forum of Writers of Eurasian Capitals was organised in Nursultan, the capital city of Kazakhstan. The invited participant of the Forum from Armenia was the Head of the Chair of Ancient and Medieval Armenian Literature and its Teaching Methods, the RA NAS Associate Member, Doctor of Philology, Professor Aelita Doloukhanyan.

At the Forum Professor Doloukhanyan presented her report headed “Main Trends of the Modern Armenian Literature and the Universal Literature”, where she assured that today, Armenian Literature with centuries-old history still maintains its interest in the diversity of literature with its long-lasting impetus of being constantly engaged in various universal literature phenomena.

According to her, such forums bring various nations closer, create opportunities to learn from one another, to chase the perfect and jointly move towards the creation of common human mental heritage; from that perspective, the Writers Forum carries out a huge literary and historical mission.
