“Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Mkrtich Mazmanyan has left a rich legacy (monographs, university textbooks and handbooks and academic articles). What is also an important asset are Mazmanyan’s historiographical books devoted to Armenian psychology in which the author shows that Armenian psychological thought promoted the advancement of Armenian psychology, conveyed spirit to Armenian progressive movements and the struggle and fostered self-recognition and self-establishment,” Lilit Lachinyan, acting Head of the Chair of Psychology after academician Mkrtich Mazmanyan, remarked at the republican scientific conference held under the title “Prospects for Development of Psychology in Armenia” at the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU).
The scientific conference was dedicated to the 115th birth anniversary of true member of the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Sciences and Merited Figure in Sciences of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic Mkrtich Mazmanyan.
