KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

An open-air yearend concert was held in Tsaghkadzor on the initiative of the Chair of Music of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU).

The orchestras of the Chair of Music performed the works of popular musicians during the traditional concert.

Thanks to the brass band, kanon (a string instrument) and dhol (a percussion musical instrument) players, the attendees got acquainted with the national orchestras.

The participating students think that those annual concerts provide an opportunity to express themselves and enable them to gain confidence to perform in concerts.

The organizers of the concert are sure that the concerts organized in the regions will contribute to the popularization of national orchestras, university's recognition, and will give an opportunity to future musicians to perform on professional stages.
