The “Human Psychological Problems” Russian language monograph by Professors of the Pedagogical University received the jubilee Socrates Medal of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.
The co-authors of the monograph are the Head of the Chair of Applied Psychology, Professors Samvel Khoudoyan, Samvel Soukiassyan, and Naira Harutyunyan. For the first time the monograph presents a comprehensive analysis of human psychological issues.
The authors, teaming with international researchers from Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, and Israel have formed the first in the world classification system of human psychological problems. In addition, it has also been planned to compile a guideline of diagnosing psychological problems on the basis thereof. This will allow to forma a common approach in diagnosing psychological issues in psychotherapy and practical psychology, in general.
Moreover, we would also like to remind, that the international team of researchers organized a conference on the above-raised issues in 2019, which, in fact, set the start of a comprehensive research of psychological problems in practical psychology and creation of their classification systems.
Today, the classification model of age related human psychological issues has already been created, based on which a corresponding classification-diagnosing system will be built; as well as, problems on the psychotherapy field have also been outlined. Last but not least, military and legal psychological problems are also being researched.
