A roundtable discussion on "Key Issues in Educational Management" was organized recently. The event was attended by Rita Gevorgyan, Head of ASPU’s University–Employer Cooperation Centre, students who are taking a a master's degree program in Education Management, Ruzanna Muradyan, President of the Union of School-Centers Union of Legal Entities, school principals and experts.
The school principals presented the best practices of employees' career advancement and promotion and highlighted the need for the introduction of incentive mechanisms to motivate the staff.
Rita Gevorgyan stressed the importance of a systematic approach to research, analysis and planning for developing a school development program as an importance document for boosting the effectiveness of school management. She also presented the general scheme of school development program.
This was followed by an active discussion over innovative teaching methods. The students shared their opinions and observations on school management.
The participants of the roundtable agree that such discussions will strength cooperation between the University and schools, promoting the exchange of best practices and know-how in the field of education.
