A six-week training programme for pedagogue-educators concluded at the ASPU Chess Research Centre.
During the training session, the Faculty of the ASPU Chair of Pre-School Pedagogy and Methodology presented to 14 pedagogue -educators of three pre-school educational centre interesting games with various methodologies aimed at forming primary chess knowledge among of 5-6 years old children, different exercises, tasks, group and sub-group works , video material, as well as digitalised chess game -assignments on the https://innostud.am/ educational platform.
The Associate Professor of the Chair of Chess and Sports Mr. Samvel Misakyan, in his turn, shared with the participants the secrets of the most famous game of the world - chess, thus, contributing to the formation of their chess skills.
The purpose of the training course “Chess at Pre-School Educational Institutions” was to present to the pedagogue-educators, participating in this training, the activities aimed at forming the primary chess knowledge among children of the age of 5-6 not just by separately teaching them the chess game, but also with the use of private methods of pre-school education practiced at kindergartens.
Parallel with the training sessions, in the course of activities the educators practiced with the children the material they were taught; the monitoring, conducted by the Lecturers of the above-mentioned Chair, served as a proof thereof.
The participants of the “Chess at the Pre-School Educational Institutions” training session received Certificates from the Director of the Chess Research Institute, the ASPU Head of the Chair of Chess and Sport Mr. Smbat Lputyan.
The already trained pedagogue-educators shared with their impressions, demonstrated interesting video materials about the activities carried out with children at kindergartens.
