“Step by step”

Today, 33 students of the Faculty of Primary Education received certificates from the “Step by Step” Charity Organization for participation in the training on the abovementioned topic from 9-10 December.

The Directors of the Foundation were welcomed by the University Ms. Rouzanna Tsarukyan and Ms. Marinei Mkrtchyan, who considered the expectation from students justified, motivated, dynamic, interested in acquiring new knowledge, as well as the desire of hearing and learning all that is new is truly worth encouragements.

“This is a pilot programme conducted together with students by the Faculty’s and our joint decision. The ASPU is the first establishment as the mother pedagogical university cooperation with which expanded and, in addition to pedagogues, the MA students were also trained before  entering the schools,” mentioned Rouzanna Tsarukyan.

The latter assured that the evaluation form filled in by the students will not remain unanswered; in order to continue the cooperation it is foreseen to hold discussions that will build up educational needs and will guide on the cooperation directions with the Pedagogical University.

“Professions of doctors and teachers are the most important ones for me as we trust our lives to the first ones and we trust our children to the second ones; and in fact, there is no other thing that is more precious in the world”.

The organizer of the training is Marinei Mkrtchyan, who, in her turn, noticed that studies showed that the most important thing was correctly established basis.

The Vice-Rector Srbouhi Gevorgyan who was present at the event, and who participated in such initiatives numerously, was assured that the programme was extremely interesting and full of opportunities.

This initiative will help to introduce new innovational programmes, interactive methods, pedagogical skills, and capacities.

“Due to this initiative, future pedagogues may receive the component that will contribute to the formation of practical skills, which will be emphasized in the whole process of professional activities”.

The Head of the Department for Professional Education and Applied Pedagogy Aida Topuzyan is assured that the Faculty of Primary Education is on the right track; the students of the MA courses must master modern technologies, have a comparative way of thinking, be able to analyze, make conclusions, and that the seminar is quite useful in this perspective.

More to the point, the Head of the Faculty’s Department of Preschool Pedagogy and Methodology Svetlana Marutyan considered the programme exceptional; in addition to the MA students, among those participating in the training are students of the BA courses, who decided to continue professional education.

 The MA student Tamar Antonyan, who combined education with work, considered the training indicator high, noticing that from the very next day the new methods were introduced in her daily work.

The Dean of the Faculty of Primary Education Ms. Heghinei Khachatryan, who started activities in the “Step by Step” programme, does not hide that she is thankful to them for the knowledge she acquired; the programmes of the organization are an axiom in the professional framework, they are professional, consistent, and refer to the most important one.

The Dean in his turn, expressed acknowledgements for the development of modern approaches for children’s development and education and the priceless contribution in dissemination, as well as useful cooperation with the Faculty; likewise,  he presented a hand-made gift prepared by the representatives of the “Step by Step” Charity Foundation.
