Within the framework of the “Summer School 2019” international project, two studnets of the Pedagogical University visited the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences.
On the first day of the project the studnets participated in the official opening ceremony, got familiarized with the agenda and the University staff. The agenda was full of a series of learning and cultural initiatives.
The studnets had a chance to see the Trakai Castle, the ancient capital city of Lithuania Kernave, the Rumsiskes Open- Air Museum of Lithuanian lifestyle, and visited the second biggest city of Lithuania Kaunas.
By touring around the historically and culturally valued monuments, castles and museums, the studnets got familiarized with the history of Lithuania, their national traditions, values and lifestyle, tried the national Lithuanian cuisine, learned the some national songs and dances.
The visit programme was also enriched with educational elements, with the help of which the students of the ASPU were able to study the Lithuanian language.
At the end of the trip each of the participating countries presented their national culture and cuisine. The APSU studnets, in their turn, sang the “Yerevan Dardzats Im Erebuni” [My Erebuni, which became Yerevan] song.
