From 15 to 22 July, 6 students from the Pedagogical University Faculty of History and Law and one student from the Artsakh State University participated in the “Summer School” organised by the Chair of Armenian Studies of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
The aim of the project was to foster formation of cultural discourse among the youth through lectures, seminar- discussions, visits to various sights, and familiarization with national culture.
In this light, the students had the chance to make sightseeing in Budapest and to visit historical and cultural sights, to see one of its oldest town – Szentendre, to go the National “House of Terror” Museum of Hungary, the Fishermen Castle, the Buddha Castle, the Mathias Church, the Armenian Church of Budapest, and a number of other places.
Within the scope of the “Summer School” studnets had seminar –discussions, during which they spoke about the impressions they got from the sites they visited, as well as about the development opportunities for the youth in Artsakh. Last but not least, in their interview to the aspu.am the students mentioned that the unforgettable memories proved that the project was a success.
