The ASPU student of the Faculty of Culture, Department of Cinematography and Artistic Photography Nairi Manoukyan’ s “Hayerenner” [Armenians] photoshoot has recently been exhibited at the opening ceremony of the “Armenian House”. The exhibition organized by the “Ani” Union of Armenians of Belgium in Mechelen was the first foreign exhibition for Nairi Manoukyan. Prior to that the ASPU student had presented a number of exhibitions in his homeland, including “From of the World of Armenia”, “Armenian Home” and four other exhibitions.
With the “Hayerenner” [Armenians] photoshoot by Nairi Manoukyan the European art lovers got familiarized with the mentality of people of Javakhk, their lifestyle, peculiar features, the beauty of the land and its depth.
The organiser of the initiative Mamikon Khurshudyan assured that the exhibition of the Armenian photographer recorded great success and added that the Armenians in Europe welcomed such undertakings with great enthusiasm; they acted as the best examples of Armenian preservation and strengthening the Armenia-Diaspora relations.
Among those attending the exhibition were the Mayor of Mechelen - Bart Sonners, the Head of the Armenian Community Erick Yenockyan, representatives of Armenian Communities of different cities and the spiritual world, and the staff members of the RA Embassy to Belgium.
